Brian Murray is an entrepreneur, business executive, and author. He is co-founder of Open Door Capital, a private equity firm with more than $1B in assets under management. He is also the founder of Washington Street Properties, which was ranked on the Inc. 5000 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies for five consecutive years.

Brian is the author of Crushing It in Apartments and Commercial Real Estate, which garnered multiple book awards, and co-author of The Multifamily Millionaire, Volumes I & II. He has been interviewed or quoted by dozens of major media outlets including CNN, CBS MarketWatch, PBS, The Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times. 

Brian resides in Western North Carolina where he spends time working on his ranch, working on himself, reading, writing, hiking, and trail running in the Great Smoky Mountains.
